Yulex hires new staff and expands to San Diego

San Diego, California – Yulex Corporation, a biomaterials company, announced last week the increase of its crop science program team and an expansion to San Diego with laboratory, greenhouse and field operations.
New hires are Eric Mathur as chief science officer and senior vice president of crop science along with Grant Aldridge as the vice president of global commercial agriculture operations.
Mathur and Aldridge collectively represent over 60
years of domain expertise, management and industrial experience in the
areas of genomics, molecular genetics and plant biotechnology along with
plant breeding, agronomy, product development and commercial feedstock
deployment.
Yulex improves guayule for the replacement of petroleum-based products with natural, plant-based biomaterials while using “zero-waste, pollution free and sustainable practices”.
