Pirelli tires back on board with the 'Sporties'
ERJ staff report (TP)
Brisbane, Australia − The Motorcycle Sportsmen of Queensland welcome back Pirelli tires as a major sponsor for the 2014 race season, featuring the Warwick Challenge, the five round combined Southern Downs/Queensland Road-Race championships and The Master of Morgan Park.
“A generous contingency program” means that club riders who choose to run Pirelli for each race of the season and finish on the podium can use 'Link Dollars' to select products from the extensive Link International range, featuring Motul, Pirelli, RK, Ferodo and many more.
Pirelli has been distributed in Australia by Link International since 2009, and the latter will continue to offer Motorcycle Sportsmen members a reduced pricing structure for Pirelli tires.
Don Nicholas, Product Manager, Pirelli Moto Link International, said: "Link International and Pirelli are very pleased to continue our successful partnership with The Motorcycle Sportsmen of Queensland.
“This year we have an exciting new contingency program for members of the club who race across the revamped series, including the Rookies class where people can get a taste for road racing to see how much fun it can be when choosing to race on Pirelli tires. We wish all Motorcycle Sportsmen of Queensland members a successful season ahead, and look forward to working with riders at each round to ensure they get their best results using Pirelli racing tires."
