ERJ staff report (TP)
Houston, Texas − The International Institute of Synthetic Rubber Producers (IISRP) and its financial cosponsors, the American Chemistry Council’s Olefins Panel, and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) have announced an international symposium on the “Health Risks of Lower Olefins”. The one-and-a-half day event will take place at the TCEQ offices in Austin, Texas on 25-26 June.
“This is the fifth time the IISRP has been privileged to coordinate this international symposium,” said James L. McGraw, Managing Director and CEO. He also noted that CEFIC’s Lower Olefins and Aromatics are supporting the international event. Five speaking sessions are planned including a final day panel discussion in addition to a poster session. McGraw said he expects there to be some 20 scientists to present their research on butadiene, isoprene, chloroprene, ethylene and propylene.
