Maxxis sponsor 'It's A Drift Life' in 2014 Championships
ERJ staff report (TP)
Suffolk, UK − Maxxis will be sponsoring It’s a Drift Life in this year’s Maxxis British Drift Championship, as well as in the King of Europe Drift Championship.
The tire manufacturer said the deal will further enhance its support of this “exciting and growing” motorsport, which they have championed in the last five years.
The deal comes at a time when It’s a Drift Life has announced its intention to race all over Europe, as Maxxis International’s marketing manager, Amy Cahill explains: “The opportunity to support It’s a Drift Life gives Maxxis a great chance to gain recognition all around the world.
“This fast emerging motorsport series already has a passionate fan base that will all get the chance to see the outstanding performance capabilities of Maxxis’ tires throughout the 2014 championships.”
The It’s a Drift Life team consists of Ryan Cooper, who will be competing in the semi-pro category of the BDC in his extremely high spec built Nissan R33 Skyline, and Christian Lewis competing in the Super-Pro category of the BDC in his Nissan S14. As well as competing on Maxxis’ MAZ1 drift tires, the cars will also carry Maxxis’ distinctive orange branding
