Federal will attend 2014 Tokyo Auto Salon
ERJ staff report (TP)
Tokyo – Taiwan’s Federal Tyres announced its first time participation in the 2014 Tokyo Auto Salon, which will be held at the Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall in Chiba from 10-12 January.
Federal will officially introduce a full range motorsport line, ”FMS,” presenting tires for circuit racing, slick, semi-slick and rally driving in Japan. The company will also showcase its “comprehensive” product lineups including PCR, UHP and SUV at Hall 10, booth No. 1020.
In celebration of Federal Tyre’s diamond jubilee in 2014, a series of activities will be launched at its booth. Feddi, Federal’s mascot, will exclusively make its debut throughout the three-day exhibit, and “Federal girls” will be giving out limited “fukubukuro” [grab bags – full of unknown and random contents] during certain hours.
Geoffrey Chang, Manager of Marketing, said: “We are looking forward to this exciting event since Federal’s first participation in Tokyo Auto Salon is absolutely significant to us, not only because of our 60th anniversary in 2014, also, the attendance is favourable for building a closer connection with end-users and consolidating our foothold in Japan.”
