Interbrand names Maxxis as one of Taiwan's top 20 global brands

    Taipei, Taiwan − For the 11th straight year, Interbrand has named Cheng Shin Rubber Ind. Co., Ltd. d/b/a Maxxis International as one of Taiwan’s top 20 global brands.

    Maxxis is one of eight companies on the list which saw double-digit growth in brand value in 2012. Interbrand has assessed the value of the Maxxis brand at US$370m (€269.1m), 12 percent more than last year’s estimate. The company moved up one place from its ranking on last year’s list to eighth place.

    The list was compiled by Interbrand, an international consulting firm, and publishing company Business Next at the request of Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs.
