Lincoln, UK − James Dawson, the engineering provider of bespoke advanced silicone and organic rubber products, has invested in a new Lab Mixer as it looks to explore the capabilities of advanced compounds with a view to bringing ground-breaking new products to the market, according to their press release.
Richard Turner, Director of Technology & Innovation, said: “The investment in the new Lab Mixer … is a highly significant one indicative of our fresh approach to R&D.
“We have lots of ideas and avenues to explore over the next three to six months in the first instance and we can’t necessarily predict where it will take us, but the aim is to improve the capabilities of advanced compounds for use in engineering applications.
“It’s a big switch from what we’ve been doing in the past seven years or so that will allow us to present customers and potential customers with highly effective engineering solutions that they won’t know about or have not come across elsewhere.”
James Dawson, which is part of the FTSE 250-listed Fenner Group, employs more than 300 staff and has its headquarters in Lincoln in the UK and offices in North America, China and across Europe.
