Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates − Ducab, a manufacturer of power cables and wires in the Middle East, unveiled its new range of rubber cables, reported Abu Dhabi City Guide.

This news was announced at the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC), which takes place 10-13 November at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) in the UAE.

Andrew Shaw, Managing Director, said: “Ducab looks forward to becoming the first manufacturer of rubber cables in the Middle East region, as the company seeks to meet demand for special cabling from the region’s push for industrialisation.”

The 16th edition of ADIPEC kicked off on 10 November at ADNEC, under the theme ‘Energy for all in a Changing World’, with the participation of nearly 50,000 oil and gas industry professionals from 80 countries around the world; and 1,600 international suppliers and companies.

Dubai Cable Company (Ducab) was established in 1979 by the Government of Dubai as a joint venture with BICC Cables. Today, it is equally owned by the Governments of Abu Dhabi and Dubai supplying a range of power cables and accessories to customers in 40 countries.
