Yokohama tire-equipped car wins endurance race for 3rd year
ERJ staff report (LMH)
Tokyo - Yokohama Rubber has said that a car equipped with its Advan racing tires won the overall championship at the 12-hour Malaysia Merdeka Endurance Race 2013, held 29-31 August.
This marks the third consecutive year that the reace has been won by a car wearing Yokohama tires, the Japanese tire maker said. It added that on a course known for its extremely high road surface temperature, Yokohama tires’ “superior wear resistance limited grip loss over the long race, thereby making a big contribution to the victory”.
