Latex mattress maker offers insomnia advice
ERJ staff report (BC)
St. Louis, Missouri – Boyd Latex Mattresses (BLM) is looking to educate consumers with content on its website which explains the problem of insomnia. BLM hopes to “help provide rational solutions” for sufferers from the common sleep disorder.
Insomnia is a problem that most Americans can relate to, says BLM. With an echo of sometime US Secretary of Defence Donald Rumsfeld’s famous “known and unknown unknowns” speech, BLM says: “While most Americans have suffered from insomnia in their own life, there are still many unknowns when it comes to severe lack of sleep.
“Beyond serious health problems, life problems are often a consequence that goes unnoticed until it's too late. Relationships can suffer, and professional lives often suffer in tandem.”
A dedicated section on the BLM website will cover everything from the effects of insomnia to providing practical remedies to beat sleep disorders. Content will be added progressively.
