Myanmar stretches rubber exports

Yangon – More than 8,000 tonnes of rubber were exported from Myanmar in February, reports Khin Myo Thwe of Mizzima News.
“We exported 8,042 tonnes of rubbers through the Muse, Chin Shwe Haw and Myeik border trade points in February, netting more than US$23 million,” a spokesperson from country’s department of border trade is quoted as saying.
Myanmar rubber prices fell in February in line with the global trend.
11 March 11, the price of rubber was $3,090 per tonne of RSS-1, $3,040 per tonne of RSS-3 and MSR, and $2,950 per tonne of MSS-5 and MSR-50.
