Apollo Tyres expands European product range
ERJ staff report (LMH)
Geneva, Switzerland – Apollo Tyres has launched two new high-performance passenger vehicle tires at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, as part of its efforts to expand its footprint in Europe over the past year.
The Apollo Alnac 4G is a summer tire with an asymmetrical tread that Apollo says “performs well in all weather conditions.” The Indian tire maker said it has excellent label values for all 29 sizes being launched in phase 1: a wet grip of B, rolling resistance of C and noise at 69 dB, represented as two waves.
The Vredestein Ultrac Vorti R is an ultra-high-performance tire from Apollo Vredestein, which the company says has an increased focus on “grip and sportiness.” The broad tread and flat contour of the tire creates an extra-wide contact surface, giving superior grip-handling and stability, Apollo said.
Apollo presented both tires at the Geneva Motor Show held 7-17 March in Geneva, Switzerland.
