Firestone launching new agricultural tires
ERJ staff report (BC)
Brussels – Bridgestone Europe will launch new Firestone branded, European-made tires at the SIMA agri-business show in Paris, 24-28 February.
The Maxi Traction IF 800/70R38 combines high load capacity and low soil compaction, says the company. Thanks to a large footprint, the D-speed rated tire is cited as a replacement for 710/70R42 or 650/85R38 tires “with a more soil-friendly alternative.”
The Maxi Traction 800/65R32 is a corresponding tire for the combine vehicle sector.
With the new Performer 270/95R48 row crop tyre, Firestone is entering the sprayer market with tires featuring outstanding load carrying capacity, a high speed index and accurate steering response, according to the company.
Further size expansions of the Performer 85-90-95 series are planned in the coming months.
Firestone will be on Stand B115, Hall 5B at SIMA.
