Aarhus, Denmark - Material handling supplier Crisplant has launched its first automated material handling system customised for tire production, which it will showcase at Tire Technology Expo 2013 (5-7 February at Cologne) on Hall 1, stand 1166.
The Tire Tray Transportation and Sortation System is designed to ensure gentle transport of both uncured and cured tires, with RFID tracking and traceability of individual tires throughout production.
Loading and unloading are fully automatic and a wide variety of tire sizes can be handled within the same system, says the company.
Detailed management statistics along with system-wide visibility and control enable the system to be continuously optimised to enhance process efficiency, according to Crisplant.
