Seoul - Tire maker Hankook has unveiled plans for the construction of the company's new central R&D facility in South Korea.
The 100 000 mÂ² centre will be located at Daedeok Innopolis, a research complex located in Daejeon, about 150 km south of Seoul. Hankook said the facility is due to be completed by the end of 2015.
â€œUpon completion of the new R&D facility, Hankook will be able to further strengthen research capabilities to develop cutting-edge tyre technology,â€ commented Hyun Bum Cho, President and Chief Marketing & Corporate Management Officer at Hankook Tire.
