Scandinavian consumers praise Cinturato Blue tire
ERJ staff report (BC)
Milan - The Swedish consumer website Topten has endorsed Pirelli's latest Cinturato P7 Blue tire for its low rolling resistance (hence low fuel consumption), high levels of wet grip and reduced external noise.
Topten uses an energy rating system from 'A' to 'G' to grade products.
The P7 Blue was found to offer 23% less rolling resistance than a tire in the 'C' category, using less fuel and emitting fewer noxious emissions. For example, says Pirelli, a saloon car on the tires covering 15,000km per annum uses 5.1% less fuel and reduces carbon dioxide emissions by 123.5kg.
