London - Rubber prices eased during Wednesday's trading. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract fell by 2 to close at yen 257 ($3.14) on Wednesday 28 November. Shorter-dated prices increased, to close at yen 243 (from 247).
In Singapore, the May 2013 TSR20 contract on SGX closed was trading down 3 at just over $2.83 in late trading on Wednesday evening; December 2012 prices were slightly up at $2.82 (from $2.80).
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for the January 2013 closed down by a fraction of a yuan at Yuan 23.9 ($3.85) per kilo on Wednesday. Prices for March 2013 were also down to close at yuan 24.0 (from 24.2).
