JSR fire - plant to re-start

Yokkaichi, Japan - Following the lifting of all site preservation orders at the site, JSR Corp has said it intends to re-start production at its emulsion-SBR plant in Yokkaichi. The plant was affected by a small fir on 15 November.
JSR said The Yokkaichi Labor Standards Inspection Office performed the second inspection of the site of the fire and has lifted all preservation orders relating to the band dryer in question. The company said, “We will continue to investigate the cause of the fire with the help of the Yokkaichi City Fire Department.â€
