NR prices ease in quiet trading

London - Rubber prices eased in quiet trading on Tuesday. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract fell by around 3 yen to trade at just above yen 243 ($3.06) on Tuesday 13 November. Shorter-dated prices also eased to trade around yen 232 (from 235).

In Singapore, SGX was closed for the Diwali / Deepavali holiday.

In India, NMCE was also closed for Diwali / Deepavali.

In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for November closed slightly down at just above Yuan 23.3 ($3.74) per kilo on Tuesday. Prices for January 2013 fell by a fraction of a yuan to close at yuan 24.1 (from 24.2).
