Bridgestone approves board member changes

Toyko -- Bridgestone Corp. has announced that its board of directors has approved proposals for changes in members of the board and corporate officers.
Kazuhisa Nishigai, COO and Representative Board Member, will no longer be responsible for Japan Tyre business but will retain his responsibility for Diversified Products, Sports and Cycle business.
Yoshiyuki Morimoto becomes Senior Vice President, Chief Technology Officer responsible for Technology and also for CSR and Quality Management.
Narumi Zaitsu becomes Senior Vice President reponsible for International Tyre
Business Operations.
