Semperit to buy Latexx

Vienna -- Semperit AG Holding says that the Securities Commission Malaysia has consented to “the contents of the offer document for the voluntary conditional offer for Latexx Partners Berhad.â€
The offer is being made via Semperit Investments Asia Pte Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Semperit. The offer is still subject to anti-trust clearance in Austria and Germany, as well as Semperit Investments Asia Pte Ltd having received valid acceptances, which when taken together with the shares already acquired, held, or entitled to be acquired or held by it, of more than 50 percent of the issued shares of Latexx Partners.
Latexx Partners is the world's sixth largest and one of the leading medical gloves producers in Malaysia. It owns six manufacturing plants.
