IRRDB can play role In development of rubber

Thiruvananthapuram, India - Speaking at the IRC meeting in India, Smt. Sheela Thomas, Chairman, Rubber Board, said the International Rubber Research and Development Board (IRRDB) can play an important role in evolving international cooperation in natural rubber (NR) cultivation processing, trade and industry.
She was delivering the key note address in the inaugural session of IRC-2012 and Annual Meetings of IRRDB, held at Kovalam earlier this week.
The three day long International Rubber Conference will have two days of intensive deliberations - focusing on Challenges to Rubber Industry on the first day, and Farm Mechanisation on the second day.
