Sinopec rubber output fell in Q3

Beijing -- China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation ("Sinopec") said its output of synthetic rubber in the first nine months of 2012 was 703,000 tonnes, compared with 746,000 tonnes in the equivalent prior-year period, representing a decline of 5.5 percent in volume.
The figures came amid the company's third-quarer results statement, which showed the group as a whole reported overall growth of 5.5 percent in volumes. The Company's operating income increased by 5.43% year-on-year to RMB676.694 billion (euro 83942 million). Net profit attributable to shareholders of the company decreased by 7.5% year-on-year to RMB18.249 billion.
