Bridgestone ups car tyre capacity in Hungary

Tokyo -- Bridgestone Corp.'s Hungarian subsidiary, Bridgestone Tatabánya Termelö Kft is to increase passenger car radial tyre production at its Tatabánya plant by about 12 000 tyres per day.
The Euro 267 million investment will bring the plant's total capacity to around 18 000 tyres per day. The expansion is due for completion in the first half of 2017.
Bridgestone said it is “continuously optimising its production and supply systems in order to quickly respond to global market demand trends and provide customers with high-quality products in a timely manner.â€
