London - Rubber prices were slightly stronger overnight. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract closed up 2 at just above yen 261 ($3.31) on Wednesday 17 October. Shorter-dated prices also rose to finish at yen 253.
In Singapore, the April 2013 TSR20 contract on SGX was trading slightly higher at $3.01 in late trading on Wednesday evening; November 2012 prices were half a cent higher at $2.95.
In India, NMCE said November prices closed up by 1 rupee at Rs 182 ($3.44). December prices also rose to close just below Rs 184.
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for November closed fractionally higher at just over Yuan 24.5 ($3.91) per kilo on Wednesday. Prices for January 2013 closed a fraction higher at yuan 25.3.
