Maxxis sets up training hub in Malaysia

Penang,Malaysia -- Taiwan's Cheng Shin Rubber Industry Co Ltd is setting up a regional education centre in Penang for its Asian distributors. The proposed centre, to be operational by next year is set to raise Malaysia's profile as a hub for the automotive industry.
The company, which trades as Maxxis International, has chosen its Malaysian distributor Kian Hon Tyres Sdn Bhd to host a multi-million ringgit training centre for the distributors. "The Maxxis Asia Education Centre will be Cheng Shin's first in the world and we are proud to be a part of the Maxxis family in sharing knowledge among its members," Kian Hon Tyres Sdn Bhd group managing director Sydney Tan said.
