Sales jump 79% in 2011 at HaloPolymer

Moscow - HaloPolymer OAO, a Russian producer of fluorinated products including fluoro-polymers, said revenue in fiscal 2011 was $509 059, up from $285 553 in 2010, an increased of 79 percent.
HaloPolymer attributed this growth to the increase of production and implementation of the Kyoto Protocol provisions. The largest share of revenue (58 percent) was made up by the sales of polymers and inorganic chemicals.
Earnings (EBITDA) for the 12 months ended 31 Dec 2011 totalled $210 017, up by 283 percent compared with 2010. Earnings profitability was 41 percent compared to 19 percent in the year 2010.
Net profit in 2011 was $155 245, up from $26 920 in 2010, HaloPolymer said in its 5 Sept report.
