Akron, Ohio -- Goodyear has launched a Spanish-language website in the hope of providing improved communication with a growing Hispanic tyre-buying population.
The new site includes many of the features on Goodyear's existing consumer site, including a tyre/retailer selection process by vehicle or tyre size. This functionality includes the identification of retail locations, tyre features and benefits, and Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Pricing.
â€œThis is a continued investment by Goodyear to connect qualified North American shoppers with retailers, while offering consumers easy access to the best Goodyear tyres to match their needs,â€ said Mike Dauberman, Goodyear's director of interactive marketing. He noted that online tyre shopping is growing rapidly - for information-gathering, scheduling an appointment or even purchasing.
The site also contains sections in Spanish dedicated to auto and tyre care, Goodyear's store network and retail promotions.
In recent months, Goodyear also has built new platforms for its main www.goodyear.com site, a Canada-specific site and a mobile site for use by consumers via smart phones.
