London - Rubber prices in Tokyo stabilised ahead of the weekend. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract was trading down 2 at just over yen 218 ($2.78) on Friday 10 August. Shorter-dated prices were up by about 2 yen at just above yen 211 at the end of Friday's day session.
In Singapore, the February 2013 TSR20 contract on SGX was trading down 1 at $2.62; September 2012 prices also eased by a cent, to trade around $2.58 during the Friday evening session.
In India, NMCE said August prices closed unchanged at Rs 173 ($3.12). September prices were also down fractionally at just under Rs 168.
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for August closed down a fraction at Yuan 22.7 ($3.57) per kilo on Friday. September prices were also slightly down at yuan 22.7.
