Zeon sales decline slightly in Q2

Tokyo - Zeon Corp has reported sharply lower profit on marginally lower sales in the three months to 30 June 2012. The company said consolidated sales fell 2.3 percent to yen 65,187 million (euro 672 million). Oprating income fell 44 percent to yen 6593 million.
For the full year to 31 March 2012 the company expects sales to reach yen 290,000 million, a 10 percent increase on the 12 months ended March 2012. Operating income is expected to be the same as the previous year.
