Goodyear names FMCG exec to board

Akron, Ohio -- Goodyear has added another board member from the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. Roderick A. Palmore, executive vice president, general counsel, chief compliance and risk management officer, and secretary for General Mills, Inc., has been elected to the Board of Directors of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company.

General Mills makes and sells products under brands such as Betty Crocker, Good Earth, Green Giant, Old El Paso and Yoplait.

The election of Palmore brings the size of Goodyear's board to 11 members.
