London - Rubber prices around the world were mixed overnight. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract was trading level at just under yen 227 ($2.90) on Tuesday 07 August. Shorter-dated prices were about 4 yen higher at just above yen 219 during Tuesday evening trading.
In Singapore, the February 2013 TSR20 contract on SGX was trading down 1 at $2.77; September 2012 prices also eased by 1, to trade around $2.73 during the Tuesday evening session.
In India, NMCE said August prices closed down by one rupee at Rs 178 ($3.23). September prices were also down at just over Rs 174.
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for August closed up a fraction at Yuan 22.8 ($3.56) per kilo on Tuesday. September prices were also slightly up at yuan 22.9.
