London - Rubber prices around the world eased during last week. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract closed at yen 230 ($2.94) on Monday 30 July. Shorter-dated prices were also lower,to close at yen 212 on Monday evening.
In Singapore, the January TSR20 contract on SGX was trading at $2.81; August prices were also lower, trading around $2.79 in evening trading on Monday.
In India, NMCE said August prices closed at Rs 181 ($3.26). September prices closed at just under Rs 178.
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for August closed at Yuan 22.8 ($3.57) per kilo on Monday. September prices closed at yuan 22.7.
