London - Rubber prices around the world eased overnight. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract were trading down 2 at yen 245 ($3.12) on Friday 20 July. Shorter-dated prices were also lower, trading around yen 234 on Friday evening.
In Singapore, the January TSR20 contract on SGX fell by 2 to trade at $2.95; August prices were also lower by 2, trading around $2.91 in evening trading on Friday.
In India, NMCE said August prices were unchanged to close at Rs 180 ($3.26). September prices also remained the same and closed at just under Rs 179.
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for August eased slightly to close at Yuan 23.7 ($3.72) per kilo on Friday. September prices were also down to close at yuan 23.8.
