London - Rubber prices dipped shaply overnight. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract were trading up 4 at yen 247 ($3.14) on Thursday 19 July. Shorter-dated prices were also higher, trading around yen 238 on Thursday evening.
In Singapore, the January TSR20 contract on SGX recovered most of yesterday's losses to trade up 6 at $2.97; August prices were also higher, trading around $2.93 in evening trading on Thursday.
In India, NMCE said August prices eased by a rupee to close at Rs 180 ($3.25). September prices also eased to close at just under Rs 179.
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for August closed up slightly at Yuan 23.9 ($3.75) per kilo on Thursday. September prices were also up to close at yuan 24.1.
