London - Rubber prices edged higher overnight. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract were trading a little higher at yen 252 ($3.19) on Tuesday 17 July. Shorter-dated prices were a little lower, trading around yen 239 on Tuesday evening.
In Singapore, the January TSR20 contract on SGX was trading up three at $2.98; August prices were also higher, trading around $2.95 in evening trading.
In India, NMCE said August prices were up by a rupee to close at Rs 183 ($3.33). September prices closed at just over Rs 182.
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for August closed at Yuan 24.2 ($3.80) per kilo on Tuesday. September prices closed at yuan 24.3.
