London - Rubber prices moved down overnight. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract fell by 4 yen overnight to close at yen 245 ($3.09) on Wednesday 11 July. Shorter-dated prices were also down by the same amount to close around yen 240 on Wednesday. evening.
In Singapore, the January TSR20 contract on SGX was trading down 3 at $2.91; August prices were also down, trading around $2.88 in evening trading.
In India, NMCE said July prices fell by less than a rupee to close at Rs 185 ($3.34). August prices were also lower at just under Rs 185.
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for July closed unchange at Yuan 24.1 ($3.78) per kilo on Wednesday. August prices were marginally lower at yuan 24.07.
