Beijing -- China produced 336 million tyres in the first five months of 2012, an increase of 3.99 percent over the same period a year ago.
Radial tyre production was 168.5 million units, up by 8.59 percent.
In the month of May, China produced 76.6 million tyres, an increase of 2.77 percent over May 2011. Radial tyre production reached 37.1 million, a ncrease of 13 percent over the same period a year ago.
