NR prices resume downward trend

London - Rubber prices fell during the week. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract were down at yen 268 ($3.37) on Friday 25 May. Shorter-dated prices however, jumped 7 percent, to trade up 22 at yen 284 on Monday evening.
In Singapore, the TSR20 contract on SGX was down at $3.22 for November deliveries at the close on Friday, while June deliveries also closed down at $3.20.
In India, NMCE said June prices were up at Rs 194 ($3.5)
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for June closed down at Yuan 24.5 ($3.87) per kilo on Friday.
