Armed robbers steal $500 000 in tyres from Yokohama

Fullerton, California - Masked robbers stole more than $500 000 in tyres from Yokohama Tire Corp.'s Fullerton warehouse, 18 May.
A spokesman for the tyre maker confirmed local media reports that said an unknown number of robbers held two warehouse security guards at gunpoint and then drove away with two trailers loaded with tyres.
Police investigating the incident could not be reached for comment at Tire Business' press time. According to local reports, investigators have no leads.
The warehouse is next to Yokohama's US headquarters on South Acacia Avenue. in Fullerton.
