NR prices slump after the weelend

London - Rubber prices fell over the weekend. Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract were trading down 9 at yen 305 ($3.80) on Monday 07 May, when markets re-opened after the long weekend holiday. Shorter-dated prices were substantially below yen 300 at around yen 292 in late trading on Monday evening.

In Singapore, the TSR20 contract on SGX was trading down 3 at $3.60 for November deliveries in late trading on Monday, while June deliveries were also down at about $3.60 in trading during the evening session.

In India, NMCE said May deliveries closed down 2 at Rs 191 ($3.55).

In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for May closed down by a fraction of a yuan at Yuan 28.0 ($4.45) per kilo on Monday.
