Cooper recalls 1,084 tyres in US for incorrect markings

Washington DC - Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. is voluntarily recalling almost 1,100 light truck tyres for possible mismarking of sidewall information. The case can be researched under NHTSA Campaign ID Number: 12T008.
The Findlay, Ohio-based tyre maker told the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) it will voluntarily recall 1,084 Cooper Discoverer H/T light truck tyres, size LT245/75R16, for possible incorrect load ranges, maximum permissible inflation pressures and maximum loads molded on the sidewalls.
The recalled tyres were manufactured between Feb. 12 and March 10, 2012, Cooper said.
