London -- Rubber prices eased overnight, but remained above $4 in Tokyo. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract closed down 3 at yen 335 ($4.04) on 28 March. Shorter-dated prices closed down 9 at yen 329 on Wednesday evening.
In Singapore, the TSR20 contract on SGX was trading down by 3 cents at $3.80 for September deliveries a few minutes before the close on Wednesday. April deliveries were up by 2 cents at $3.79.
In India, NMCE said April deliveries closed unchanged at Rs 200 ($3.93).
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for April closed down 0.2 at Yuan 28.9 ($4.59) per kilo on Wednesday.
