London -- Rubber prices remained moved up, to well above the $4 overnight in Tokyo. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract were trading up 5 at yen 338 ($4.08) less than an hour before the close on 27 March. Shorter-dated prices were trading up at yen 329 a few minutes before the close on Tuesday evening.
In Singapore, the TSR20 contract on SGX was trading up a cent at $3.83 for September deliveries an hour before the close on Tuesday. April deliveries were also up by a cent at $3.77.
In India, NMCE said April deliveries closed unchanged at Rs 200 ($3.94).
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for April closed up 0.3 at Yuan 29.1 ($4.62) per kilo on Tuesday.
