Tokyo NR prices hover around $4

London -- Rubber prices remained just under the $4 mark in Tokyo, after drifting downwards most of the week. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract were trading down by 2 at yen 332 ($3.99) a few minutes before the close on 19 March. Shorter-dated prices closed at yen down 5, at 317 on Monday evening.
In Singapore, the TSR20 contract on SGX was trading down 2 at $3.79 for September deliveries before the close on Monday. April deliveries were down by a cent, at $3.74.
In India, NMCE said April deliveries closed up 2 at Rs 198 ($3.95).
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for April closed down by a fraction of a yuan at Yuan 28.5 ($4.51) per kilo on Monday.
