London -- Rubber prices remained just under the $4 mark in Tokyo, after drifting downwards most of the week. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract closed unchanged at yen 334 ($3.99) on 16 March. Shorter-dated prices closed at yen 322 on Friday.
In Singapore, the TSR20 contract on SGX was trading unchanged at $3.81 for September deliveries before the close on Friday. April deliveries were down by 2 cents, at $3.75.
In India, NMCE said April deliveries closed up at Rs 196 ($3.90).
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for April closed down by a fraction of a yuan at Yuan 28.7 ($4.54) per kilo on Friday.
