London -- Rubber prices finally slipped under the $4 mark in Tokyo, after drifting downwards most of the week. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract closed down 3 at yen 334 ($3.99) on 15 March. Shorter-dated prices were also down 4 yen at yen 316 on Thursday.
In Singapore, the TSR20 contract on SGX was trading down by 3 cents at $3.81 for September deliveries before the close on Thursday. April deliveries were also down by 2 cents, at $3.77
In India, NMCE said March deliveries closed down by a rupee at Rs 189 ($3.76).
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for March closed down by a fraction of a yuan at Yuan 29.05 ($4.59) per kilo on Thursday.
