Rubber advocate Fegly awarded Order of Merit by France

Orleans, France - Didier Fegly, CEO of Sacred and president of French rubber and polymer association Elastopôle, will be presented with the insignia of Knight of the Order of Merit by Pascal Lamy of the World Trade Organisation at a 12 March ceremony in Orleans.
Fegly started his carrier in management and financial control at French rubber maker Sacred, working his way up to become CEO.
Between 2002-2007, he was president of IFOCA (National Institute of professional rubber training and education) LRCCP (Laboratory of research and testing of rubber and polymers) and SNCP (National rubber and polymer trade union), as well as CLIFA (Liason committee of automobile supplier industries) from 2002-2004.
In his role at SNCP, Fegly developed a competitiveness project for the rubber and polymer industries, which was recognised in 2007 by the French government as Elastopôle. Fegly was elected president of his creation.
Since 2009, Fegly has also been also president of an automobile association, Pôle Automobile, in the Centre region of France.
Fegly was awarded the Knight of the Order of Merit by French President, Nicolas Sarkozy, on 14 Nov 2011.
