Tatneft products 350 millionth Kama brand tyre

Nizhnekamsk, Russia -- The 350 millionth Kama 310 brand tyre has rolled off the factory assembly line of the OAO Taftneft's Nizhnekamsk truck tyre factory.
The Russian company said in 2011, its manufacturing complex manufactured 11 012 million tyres, and produced 114 thousand tonnes of carbon black, 301 sets of moulds and 696.4 tonnes of castings.
It also said in a 1 March news release that 21 new lines of tyre size were put into production.
The Kama business, which distributes Nizhnekamsk tyres, sold 10 864 million tyres in 2011.
Tatneft said it exports the products from its tyre manufacturing complex to more than 80 countries, including the largest automakers in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States.
