Styron raises prices of SB latex

Horgen, Switzerland - Styron Europe GmbH and its affiliated companies are increasing the prices of all latex products sold into the paper, carpet, and performance latex markets in Europe, Russia, India, Middle East and Africa. The increase will be 200 Euro (€200) per metric ton (dry) for all Styrene Butadiene and Acrylic latex products to offset the continued increases in key raw materials, energy and freight used to manufacture and move our latex products and becomes effective March 1, 2012, or as individual agreement and contract terms permit,
The announcement follows a similar announcement applied to North America.
